EDGE: Error Dependency Graph-Guided Multi-Error Attribution in Multi-Agent LLM Systems

Jun Hou, Priya Pitre, Yi Fang, Xuan Wang

his paper introduces EDGE, a framework that addresses multi-agent LLM failures by explicitly modeling dependencies between multiple errors. EDGE constructs an error dependency graph and uses counterfactual reasoning to identify a reliable causal subset of errors. This graph-guided approach improves the accuracy of multi-error attribution, leading to better explanations and repair strategies.

Errors in agent traces form dependency cascades ( e 1 → e 3 → e 4 e_{1}\!\( \to \)\!e_{3}\!\( \to \)\!e_{4} ). Unlike single-locus attribution, EDGE detects the downstream errors via a taxonomy-level dependency graph.

Overview of EmbodiedSkills. EmbodiedSkills transforms a low-level VLA policy into a closed-loop embodied agent by coordinating observation, planning, validation, execution, verification, and recovery through executable skills. A high-level policy proposes structured operations, while a guarded runtime validates and executes them and records post-execution feedback as structured trajectories.

EmbodiedSkills: A Unified Framework for Orchestrating, Training, and Deploying VLA Agents

Wei Wang, Wenqiao Zhang et al.

EmbodiedSkills is a unified framework for Vision-Language-Action (VLA) agents that treats skill decisions as executable proposals. It introduces a runtime that verifies skill prerequisites before execution and checks outcomes afterward, ensuring robust long-ho…

Evaluating Multimodal LLMs as Generalist Vision-Language-Action Agents for Drone Control: Commanding, Approaching, Tracking and Searching

Jaewoo Park, Minyoung Lee et al.

This paper evaluates Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) as generalist agents for drone control by directly integrating them into the control loop with a prompt-defined action space. Their contribution is DroneCATS-Agent, a flexible architecture, and Dron…

Approaching episode example. The model is given the instruction and the egocentric frame and returns one action per step; the circle marks the point it emitted, which stays on the target as the target grows in view, and the fourth panel is an external view of the drone holding position after it declared arrival. The band below is the same flight from above, with the \( \delta \) ring on the target and the declaration marked, so the strip and the criterion can be read against each other.

Example of language emergence under budget pressure in an emergency response scenario (example from Sonnet 4.6). In our fictional SaveVeyru scenario, a Field Observer has access to an ailing alien, Veyru. The field observer reports observed symptoms to the Specialist, who can provide remedies which the Observer implements. Agents must handle information asymmetry, forcing them to communicate, and time pressure, encouraging them to develop novel languages, as seen in Round 13.

Harness-of-Harness: Multi-Day Autonomous Software Development with Continual Improvement

Haoyang Yan, Min-le Su et al.

This paper introduces Harness-of-Harness (HoH), a framework for multi-day autonomous software development using LLM coding agents. HoH enables continual improvement by organizing agents into iterative planning-coding-testing loops, balancing repair with capabi…

Across successive iterations by Harness-of-Harness, the resulting First-Person-Shooter game features a coherent storyline, implemented combat, weapon and enemy-interaction systems, player guidance, heads-up display and menu systems, cinematic animation, and polished visual and audio presentation, yielding human-playable experience. The game, development traces, and gameplay videos are available on GitHub.

When Safety Routing Breaks: Understanding Alignment Fragility under Benign Fine-Tuning

Yitong Guo, Xiaoyi Chen et al.

This paper argues that safety alignment in LLMs is fragile due to a "routing pathway" in output-side MLP modules that is selectively re-sharpened by benign fine-tuning. This Fisher…
